This was my final paper for my Environmental Planning class, where I researched the different effects of Green Stormwater infrastructure on gentrification and ways in which the deleterious effects of gentrification (displacement) could be mitigated while still enjoying the benefits of environmentally-conscious infrastructure.
I wrote this zoning ordinance for Planning Law to update the zoning of a corridor in Greenville, SC, to reflect a need for upzoning and infill development. The zoning ordinance includes a permitted use table and updated map.
As a part of the final assignment in Urban Economics, I was tasked with arguing for *either* big cities or small towns, from an economic standpoint. I decided that I love big cities--because I do!
I completed this Comp Plan analysis for my studio class. While preparing to aid in the update of a local county's comp plan, we were tasked with reading an exemplar planĀ and gleaning takeaways for our project. I chose Butte County, CA, which had an interesting resilience piece due to the threat and experience of wildfires in the Northern California wildland-urban interface.
